There are three GARP timer settings. • Join - A GARP device reliably transmits Join messages to other devices by sending each Join message two times. To define the interval between the two sending operations of each Join message, use this parameter. The default is 200ms. • Leave - When a GARP device expects to de-register a piece of attribute information, it sends out a Leave message and starts this timer. If a Join message does not arrive before the timer expires, the information is de-registered. The Leave timer must be greater than or equal to 3x the Join timer. The default is 600ms. • LeaveAll - After startup, a GARP device globally starts a LeaveAll timer. After expiration of this interval, it sends out a LeaveAll message so that other GARP devices can re-register all relevant attribute information. The device then restarts the LeaveAll timer to begin a new cycle. The LeaveAll timer must be greater than or equal to 5x of the Leave timer. The default is 10000ms.
