Enabling NTP NTP is disabled by default. To enable NTP, specify an NTP server to which the Dell Networking system synchronizes. To specify multiple servers, enter the command multiple times. You may specify an unlimited number of servers at the expense of CPU resources. • Specify the NTP server to which the Dell Networking system synchronizes. You can set interfaces within the system to receive NTP information through broadcast. To configure an interface to receive NTP broadcasts, use the following commands. • Set the interface to receive NTP packets. Enabling NTP

NTP is disabled by default.

To enable NTP, specify an NTP server to which the Dell Networking system synchronizes. To specify multiple servers, enter the

command multiple times. You may specify an unlimited number of servers at the expense of CPU resources.

Configuring NTP Broadcasts

With Dell Networking OS, you can receive broadcasts of time information.

You can set interfaces within the system to receive NTP information through broadcast.

To configure an interface to receive NTP broadcasts, use the following commands.

Set the interface to receive NTP packets.

Disabling NTP on an Interface

By default, NTP is enabled on all active interfaces. If you disable NTP on an interface, the system drops any NTP packets sent to
