Applying a Privilege Level to a Terminal Line To set a privilege level for a terminal line, use the following command. • Configure privilege level for a terminal line. LINE mode privilege level level NOTE: When you assign a privilege level between 2 and 15, access to the system begins at EXEC mode, but the prompt is hostname#, rather than hostname>. Configuring Logging The Dell Networking operating system tracks changes in the system using event and error messages. By default, the operating system logs these messages on: • the internal buffer • console and terminal lines • any configured syslog servers To disable logging, use the following commands. • Disable all logging except on the console.
