1 screws (4) 2 display panel Replacing the Display Panel 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Guide the display cable through the slot on the chassis. 3. Align the screw holes on the display panel with the screw holes on the chassis. 4. Replace the four screws that secure the display panel to the chassis. NOTE: The number of screws that secure the display panel to the chassis may vary. 5. Follow the instructions from step 5 to step 12 in Replacing the Display Bezel. CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may result in damage to the computer. 6. Connect your computer and all attached devices to electrical outlets, and turn them on. Display Cable Removing the Display Cable 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the display panel (see Removing the Display Panel). 3. Turn the display panel over. 4. Pull the pull-tab to disconnect the display cable from the connector on the display panel.

Replacing the Display Panel
1.
Follow the instructions in
Before You Begin
.
2.
Guide the display cable through the slot on the chassis.
3.
Align the screw holes on the display panel with the screw holes on the chassis.
4.
Replace the four screws that secure the display panel to the chassis.

Follow the instructions from

6.
Connect your computer and all attached devices to electrical outlets, and turn them on.

3.
Turn the display panel over.
4.
Pull the pull-tab to disconnect the display cable from the connector on the display panel.
