CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as a connector on your computer). Removing the Front Stand 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the back cover (see Removing the Back Cover). 3. Remove the three screws that secure the front-stand assembly to the computer. 4. Lift the rear stand so that the front stand is accessible. 5. Carefully push and release the tab that secures the front-stand assembly to the middle frame. 6. Release the tabs that secure the I/O bracket to the middle frame. 7. Lift the front-stand assembly away from the computer. 1 screws (3) 3 tab 2 rear stand 4 front-stand assembly 8. Remove the three screws that secure the I/O bracket to the front stand. 9. Release the four tabs that secure the I/O bracket to the front stand. 10. Remove the I/O bracket from the front stand.
