Installing and Cabling the System Null-Modem Cable If you are cabling a serial device such as a laptop computer to the console connector on the Integrated Administrator, be sure that you use the null-modem cable provided with the enclosure and not a straight-through cable. Use Table 3-5 to determine the specifications of this cable. Plug in the second power supply for redundancy. As soon as you remove a server blade blank and install a server blade into the front panel of the enclosure, the server blade powers up.
