ideally suited for headless (unattended), network-based software installation and
configuration. Rapid Deployment Pack is the optimum choice for ProLiant BL
e-Class server blades and facilitates the configuration of a few or hundreds of servers

Automated Deployment Using HP ProLiant Essentials
Rapid Deployment Pack
Rapid Deployment Pack integrates two powerful products: Altiris eXpress
Deployment Solution and the ProLiant Integration Module. The Deployment Server
Console contains optimizations for ProLiant servers. It provides intuitive deployment
jobs to deploy the standard hardware and operating system configurations and
applications on any combination of server blades using both scripting and imaging,
and then simultaneously deploys multiple server blades. Rapid Deployment Pack also
has advanced features that can detect and display server blades based on their
physical rack, enclosure, and bay locations. You can set the Deployment Server
Console to automatically install pre-defined configurations on newly installed server
blades.
