Chapter 3 Digital camera using PictBridge The HP Wireless Dock Base supports the PictBridge mode, which enables you to connect any camera in PictBridge mode to the front USB port. See the documentation that came with your camera to find out if it supports PictBridge. Tip You cannot connect a camera to the front USB port in PictBridge mode at the same time you have an HP camera docked in the Premium Camera Dock. Remove the HP camera from the Premium Camera Dock before attaching the PictBridge camera to the front USB port. The front USB port is located next to the memory card slot: If your camera is not in PictBridge mode or does not support PictBridge, you can still access photos in the camera by using the camera in storage device mode. For more information, see USB storage device. 1. Connect your camera to the front USB port on your HP Wireless Dock Base using the USB cable supplied with your camera. 2. Turn on your camera and make sure it is in PictBridge mode. Tip If the camera is in PictBridge mode, the camera icon will be highlighted. If the USB icon is highlighted, the camera is in storage mode. Note Check your camera documentation to verify how to change the USB mode to PictBridge. Digital camera using PictBridge
The HP Wireless Dock Base supports the PictBridge
mode, which enables you to
connect any camera in PictBridge mode to the front USB port. See the documentation
that came with your camera to find out if it supports PictBridge.
Tip
You cannot connect a camera to the front USB port in PictBridge mode at
the same time you have an HP camera docked in the Premium Camera Dock.
Remove the HP camera from the Premium Camera Dock before attaching the
PictBridge camera to the front USB port.
