Switch Admin Window Using the Port Setting Tab The Port Setting tab is used to perform the following operations on ports. Enabling or Disabling a Port To enable or disable a port, perform the following steps. 1. Access the Switch Admin Window (see "About the Switch Admin Window" on page 92). 2. Enter the admin user name and password. 3. Select the Port Setting tab. 4. Check or Uncheck the enabled port box that corresponds to the Port you wish to enable/disable. 5. Click the Apply button. 6. Check the log at the bottom of the screen for information regarding the switch configuration changes. Enabling Trunking on a Port Perform the following steps to enable trunking on a port. 1. Access the Switch Admin Window (see "About the Switch Admin Window" on page 92). 2. Enter the admin user name and password. 3. Select the Port Setting tab. 4. Check the Trunk box that corresponds to the port you wish to trunk. 5. Click the Apply button. Configuring Port Speed The following procedure configures port speed. 1. Access the Switch Admin Window (see "About the Switch Admin Window" on page 92). 2. Enter the admin user name and password. 3. Using the Port Setting Tab
The Port Setting tab is used to perform the following operations on ports.
Enabling or Disabling a Port
To enable or disable a port, perform the following steps.
1.
Access the Switch Admin Window (see “

2.
Enter the admin user name and password.
3.
Select the Port Setting tab.
4.
Check or Uncheck the enabled port box that corresponds to the Port you wish
to enable/disable.
