Switch Management About the Beacon Button Use the Beacon button (see "Switch Graphic Buttons" on page 54) of the Switch View to physically locate a switch in a fabric. The beaconing function helps to physically locate a switch by sending a signal to the specified switch, resulting in an LED light pattern running back and forth along the switch.
