Switch Management About the Switch Info Button Use the Switch Info button (see "Switch Graphic Buttons" on page 54) of the Switch View to display fundamental switch information such as the WWN, State, and Ethernet IP address. The Switch Info button fields are described in Table 13. Table 13: Info Button Fields Descriptions Field WWN Domain ID Role State Firmware Manufacturer Serial # Supplier Serial # Ether IP Ether NM FC IP FC NM Gateway License ID Description Displays the World Wide Name of the switch. Displays the Domain ID of the switch (a unique number that identifies the switch to the fabric and is used in routing frames). Displays whether the switch is a Principal or Subordinate switch in the fabric. Displays the state of the switch, whether online or offline. Displays the current version of firmware loaded on the switch. Displays the manufacturer serial number of the switch. Displays the supplier serial number of the switch, if applicable. Displays the Ethernet IP address. Displays the Ethernet Mask Displays the Fibre Channel IP address, if one exists. Displays the Fibre Channel Mask, if one exists.
