Switch Management Beacon Button-Physically Locating a Switch in a Fabric To physically locate a switch in a fabric, use the Beacon button as described in the following steps. 1. Launch Web Tools by entering the IP address of the switch you wish to locate. 2. Highlight the switch in the Fabric Tree. The selected switch appears in the Switch View. 3. Select the Beacon button on the switch View. The LED lights on the selected switch light up and run back and forth across the switch. 4. To physically locate a switch in a fabric, use the
