Logging in Once a serial connection is established, apply power to the switch. 1. Connect the power cords to both power supplies and power sources, as shown in Figure 18. Verify that the cords have a minimum service loop of six inches available at the connection to the switch and are routed to avoid stress. 2. To power on, set the two AC switches to 1. NOTE: The SAN Switch 2/8V uses only one power switch. 3. The power supply LED lights up green, and the switch runs POST. The switch requires a minimum of three minutes to boot and complete POST. 4.
