Setting the IP address Replace the default IP addressing information with the information provided by your network administrator. By default, the IP address is set to 10.77.77.77. 1. Optionally, verify that the address was correctly set by entering the ipaddrshow command at the prompt. 4. Record the IP address on the label clearly displayed on the port side of the chassis. For the SAN Switch 4/32 only, record the IP address on the pull out tab provided for this purpose on the port side of switch. 5. If the serial port is no longer required, log out of the serial console, remove the serial cable, and replace the safety plug in the serial port. Replace the default IP addressing information with the information provided by your network
administrator. By default, the IP address is set to 10.77.77.77.

Type
ipaddrset
at the terminal emulator application prompt.
2.
Type remaining IP addressing information, as prompted.
3.
Optionally, verify that the address was correctly set by entering the
ipaddrshow
command at the prompt.
4.
Record the IP address on the label clearly displayed on the port side of the chassis.
For the SAN Switch 4/32 only, record the IP address on the pull out tab provided for this
purpose on the port side of switch.
5.
If the serial port is no longer required, log out of the serial console, remove the serial cable,
and replace the safety plug in the serial port.
