Various Recording Techniques During recording pause or recording, press EXPOSURE. The exposure bar appears in the LCD monitor. The exposure bar appears only during manual adjustment. Adjust the exposure by pressing &/ %. 2 • When the power is turned off, exposure adjustment returns to automatic adjustment. When the subject is lit from the rear, this function will compensate for lighting so that the subject is not too dark. Compensating for backlight Hint If you wish to adjust focus manually while adjusting exposure, press FOCUS. The manual focus icon lights in orange. To return to exposure adjustment, press EXPOSURE. 67
