14. Reinstall the cover and remove the Crisis Recovery Diskette from the external USB diskette drive; then, reconnect all external cables and power cords and turn on the peripheral devices. 15. Turn on the server to restart the operating system. Resetting passwords If you forget the user or supervisor password, you can change the position of the clear CMOS jumper (JBAT1) on the system board to bypass the user or supervisor password check. This enables you to reset these passwords. The jumper location is shown in the following illustration. Attention: Before changing any switch settings or moving any jumpers, turn off the server; then, disconnect all power cords and external cables. See the safety information beginning on page iii.
