Chapter 3 - Troubleshooting and Maintaining the Mobile Printer Cleaning the Printer To properly maintain your printer, you must clean it at the recommended interval. Make sure to clean the following parts: • Printhead • Platen roller • Paper sensors • Tear bar • Printer exterior • Media compartment To avoid possible personal injury or damage to the printer, never insert any pointed or sharp objects into the printer. Use only the cleaning agents specified in this section. Intermec is not responsible for damage caused by any other cleaning materials used on this printer. Clean most of the printer with a cotton swab saturated with alcohol. Do not clean the linerless platen roller with isopropyl alcohol. It could damage the surface of the platen roller.
