Swipe down with two fingers from the top right corner of any screen to open Quick Settings, then touch one of the boxes to open a specific setting. • Expandable notifications Expandable notifications were introduced in Android 4.1, including the option to per­ form actions from the notification itself. In Android 4.2, you can expand notifica­ tions more easily with a swipe of your finger. Swipe down the notification shade from the top of the screen, then glide your finger down the notifications to expand them. Touch an icon inside a notification to handle a task directly.
