Notes:
Some of the Forms and Bar Code Card default
v
parameter values may have slight differences with
HP. Some parameter values may match the RSS
14 Automatic Identification and Mobility (AIM)
specification values also.
Every
v
parameter value is considered in the RSS
14 AIM specification as a multiple of
x
, the module
width, assumed to be 1 by the bar code engine.
Only the bar width value, 1, is needed for the design of the two-dimensional add
on. All other bar
widths depend on the value of the bar width.
The
s
parameter does not work correctly on HP BarDIMM and Forms and Bar Code Card. Setting S1
to any value does not affect the bar code like it does with B1. The
s
parameter must vary the white-
space widths on Forms and Bar Code Card like it does on other one
dimensional bar codes.
Intelligent Mail bar code
Intelligent Mail bar code, also known as OneCode, IMB, or 4
State bar code, is used by the United States Postal
Service (USPS) to sort and track letters and flats. It combines data from the POSTNET and the PLANET bar
codes.
The HP BarDIMM version 5.0 supports Intelligent Mail bar code. The command from this version has no PCL
parameters. It is printed on one size.
