If you do not have a grounding wrist strap, make sure you are properly grounded before you touch any electronic component. Replacing a Hard Disk Drive The Nokia IP1200 Series Security Platform supports up to two hard disk drives with the disk mirroring feature in the Nokia IPSO operating system. If the appliance has only one hard disk drive installed, it is in the top slot (slot A). You can add a second hard disk drive into the bottom slot (slot B) or replace the hard disk drive in slot A. This section describes how to remove and replace a failed hard disk drive, and how to add an optional second hard disk drive to implement the diskmirroring feature. Figure 31 shows the location of the hard disk drives on the front of the IP1200 Series.
