1 Overview Table 5 Hard-Disk Drive LEDs LED LED State Activity Off Blinking green Status Solid red Solid green Off Blinking green Meaning No current disk activity. Current disk activity. Hard disk drive is turned on but is malfunctioning. Hard disk drive is turned on and is functioning. One of the following: • Hard disk drive failed its test and was powered off. • Hard disk drive is ready to be removed using the hot swap feature. One of the following: • System is booting. • Hard disk drive is starting up. • System is testing the hard disk drive. Note Do not remove the hard disk drive if the Status LED is blinking green.
