SET UP Initial Setup Multi Channel In For most people this setting will not be necessary, if this is the case for you go on to the next setup. If you have a Multi Channel external decoder you can choose whether to have the sound level set to BYPASS, which bypasses the level adjust circuit or set to ADJUST, which goes through the level adjust circuit. If continuing from Digital In Select go to step 1. If starting fresh, complete steps 1-3 in "Setting Up for Surround Sound" (p.28) first. In this setting you won't be able to change each channel individually. We recommend using BYPASS and the default setting is BYPASS. MULTI JOG (Turn to select / Push to enter) 3 Press the ENTER button and you will go to "Component In Select" setup. If you don't need to make any Component In Select adjustments use the ∞ button (or the MULTI JOG dial) to move to Multi Room. Press ENTER and see p.32, step 4. 31
