Initial Setup Crossover Network If you're using small speakers that can't reproduce good bass, you should have set those speakers to SMALL in the Speaker Setting section. This causes the bass to be routed to other speakers in your system which can handle it either the subwoofer or speakers set to LARGE in Speaker Setting. The Crossover Network setting lets you specify a frequency, below which, sound will be routed to these other speakers. If continuing from Channel Level go to step 1. If starting fresh, complete steps 1-3 in "Setting Up for Surround Sound" (p.28) first. Experiment with the different settings to see which sounds best to you. 3 Press ENTER to send the information to the receiver and go to the "Bass Peak Level" setup. If you want to change a setting before proceeding use the 5¥∞ buttons (or MULTI JOG dial) to go back. 38
