In this case choose VARIABLE TV VOL - TV CONTROL TV FUNC VOLUME - for the VOLUME LEVEL setting. If you hook up a full integrated amplifier in the sub room (such as another Pioneer VSX receiv- REMOTE SETUP INPUT ATT MENU MUTE er) choose FIXED for the VOLUME LEVEL setting. 9 SYSTEM SETUP EFFECT/ CH SEL DIGITAL NR + ENTER - FUNCTION SIGNAL SELECT MIDNIGHT MULTI CH INPUT DSP STEREO/ DIRECT 6,7, 7 IR RECEIVER should be selected (if it isn't 8,9 use the 5¥∞ buttons to select it) and press LIGHT THX /DTS ADVANCED STANDARD ENTER. AV PRE-PROGRAMMED AND LEARNING REMOTE CONTROL UNIT 8 Select PIONEER or OTHERS by using the 5¥∞ buttons and press ENTER. CAUTION! If the MULTI ROOM is set to FIXED the volume on the main unit will be set to maximum. Thus, when output, it will be extremely loud. Please set the master volume controls of the integrated amplifier in the sub room very low at first and experiment to find a suitable volume. memo Some IR RECEIVERs may not work with this system, check with a Pioneer representative to be sure.
