Programming your Sprint PCS Phone for, Voice Prompt

Tip: Speakerphone, Headset or Handsfree Car Kit microphones are not workable for Voice Dial programming. Programming the Phone for Voice Dial Programming your Sprint PCS Phone for Voice Dial is easy. The phone provides voice prompts (when "Voice Prompt" on page 106 is set to ON ) and screen displays to guide you through the recording process. To program the phone for Voice Dial: 1. From the main menu, highlight Voice Service . 2. Press . 3. Highlight Voice Dial . 4. Press . 5. Highlight Program . 6. Press . The phone will prompt you to say the name you want to program. 7. Wait for the beep and then say the name. 8. Respond to the prompt by repeating the name after the beep. 9. To store the phone number, Enter the phone number directly, highlight Next Step and press . If you want to store the name, enter it and press . Then highlight Save , and press . or Highlight the desired Phone Book entry by selecting From Phone Book , highlight Save and press . 102 Personal Information Management
