ᮣ Ringer Type lets you select the ringer types for Voice Calls or Messages. Your Sprint PCS Phone provides you with multiple ringer types including seven different 3 chord melodies, vibration and none. ᮣ Alerts give you access to the feature listed below. ᮣ Service sounds an audible alert when a network service parameter changes. For instance, if you leave the Sprint PCS Nationwide Network and start roaming, the phone beeps to notify you. When you leave the Sprint PCS Nationwide Network, you may pay higher per-minute rates. (For instructions on operating call guard see "Call Guard" on page 35). ᮣ Messages sound an audible alert only once or every two minutes whenever you receive a message. Settings are: "Once", "+ Reminder" (every 2 minutes for 20 minutes that a message is waiting) and "Off". ᮣ Minute Beep sounds an audible alert every 10 seconds before each minute during a call.
