Resetting and Locking your Phone through SMS When your phone is lost or stolen, you can erase your important personal information (such as phone book entries, call history and messages) and lock your phone by sending a special formatted SMS message to your phone. Send the following format from your computer: \\RESET RESET ᮣ -your defined passcode. Default Passcode is 11-digit ESN (Electronic Serial Number) which is described on the package or phone itself. The locked phone will display the following message: "If found, please call Sprint PCS Customer Care at 1-888-217-4727". To activate this feature, following presetting is required: 1. Fromthemainmenu,highlight Security . 2. Press . 3. Enter lock code. 4. Highlight Found Me . 5. Press . 6. Highlight Reset/Lock . 7. Press . 8. Highlight Enable . 9. Resetting and Locking your Phone
through SMS
When your phone is lost or stolen, you can
erase your important personal information
(such as phone book entries, call history and
messages) and lock your phone by sending a
special formatted SMS message to your
phone. Send the following format from your
computer:
