Advanced operations / Operaciones avanzadas Using the PROGRAM AE function (1) While the camcorder is in recording or Standby mode press MENU to display the menu. (2) Press v or V to select PGM AE, then press EXECUTE. (3) Press v or V to select the desired mode, then press EXECUTE. If you want to change the other modes, repeat steps 2 and 3. The symbol of the selected mode appears on the LCD screen. (4) Press MENU to erase the menu display. Note on locking the exposure If the exposure is locked when using the PROGRAM AE function, the exposure is automatically released when the PROGRAM AE mode is changed. Note on white balance setting •In the Sunset & Moon and Landscape modes, the white balance is automatically set to outdoor mode. •If the white balance is set to AUTO, it is automatically set when using the PROGRAM AE function. Using the PROGRAM AE
function

mode
Select AUTO in the PGM AE menu. The symbol
of the PROGRAM AE mode disappears.
Note on shutter speed
The shutter speed in Sports lesson mode is from
1/250 to 1/4000.
Note on locking the exposure
If the exposure is locked when using the
PROGRAM AE function, the exposure is
automatically released when the PROGRAM AE
mode is changed.
Note on white balance setting
•In the Sunset & Moon and Landscape modes,
the white balance is automatically set to
