Notes on Dubbing Dubbing with the HDV/DV jack When you perform dubbing between the unit and digital video equipment connected with an i.LINK cable using the unit as a player, the HDV/DV jack output format is determined in accordance with the playback tape format and menu setting of the unit. If you use the unit as a recorder, the format of a tape used for recording is determined in accordance with the HDV/ DV jack input format and menu setting of the unit. For details, check the following table on page 101. Playback and editing using this tape may be limited for some dubbing methods.
