If you attempt to send the DTS signal to the second/third room you will only hear digital noise (that may damage your speakers). Thus, the following considerations and adjustments need to be made when playing DTS encoded discs. For DVDs encoded with DTS Only 2 channel analog audio signals may be sent to the second/third room. Use the disc menu to set the DVD player's mixed 2channel left and right audio outputs to the PCM or Dolby Digital soundtrack. Notes • The source in Zone 2 and the source available for recording are always the same. • "ZONE2" or "ZONE3" will appear in the display window only when k is pressed, and "SYSTM" only when n is pressed For CDs encoded in DTS To avoid unexpected noise, DO NOT USE the Zone 2/ Zone 3 feature with CDs encoded in DTS. 80
