Tighten the tether strap according to the manufacturer's instructions to remove any slack. Make sure the head restraint or headrest does not contact the top tether strap. SSS1168 3rd row seat seat is the seating position that can use a top tether strap. First, secure the child restraint with the seat belt, as applicable. 1.
