Rear Seat Entertainment system EN Troubleshooting Problem The unit stopped unexpectedly Solution • The thermal protection function may have powered down the unit. Please turn the unit off and wait until it cools down before resuming operation. Check that you pressed RIGHT or LEFT for the corresponding device. Check that the remote control batteries are not discharged. Remove the screw from the back of the remote control with a coin or other hard object. Replace the battery, replace cover and tighten screw. If the backlight flashes three times and then goes out and the device does not start when the power switch has been pressed, the vehicle's battery voltage is too low. Check/charge The unit is not responding to any of the commands from the remote control The remote control does not seem to have power The multimedia system does not start Language setting does not change the battery. Check power wire fuse, located under the center console trim panel. Language selection needs to be made in 2 places (DVD Setup and Display Menu). Note: The DVD Setup Menu can only be accessed when a DVD is inserted into the unit. Change source to DVD mode. Cannot access DVD Menu 23
