Making Calls Making Calls from the Telephone Book Call Duration All door calls are automatically terminated after a specific period has expired. This ensures that forwarded door calls do not unintentionally lead to continuous calls (e.g. to a mailbox). Your system administrator can configure the period in the OpenCom 100 / Aastra 800 from 30 to 300 seconds and will be able to tell you the current value. 2.6 Making Calls from the Telephone Book 2.6.1 The Telephone Book Approximately 2,000 entries can be saved in the telephone book of your communications system. This number includes the centrally administered telephone book, the personal entries of all subscribers, and, provided you are using the multi-company variant of the OpenCom 100 / Aastra 800, the entries in the companies' telephone books. How many entries you can save in your personal telephone book is determined by your system administrator when configuring the OpenCom 100 / Aastra 800. The personal entries are automatically sorted into the comprehensive register, but can only be viewed on your telephone. (However, the system administrator or a person with the corresponding authorisation can delete your telephone book completely.) For instructions on managing the telephone book, refer to the section entitled MenuCard "Phone Book" on page 97. 64
