Cut out the appliqué, leaving a seam a allowance of between 3 and 5 mm (1/8 and 3/16 inch). • For details, refer to "Replacing the presser foot" (page 41). 1 Select a stitch. e • For details, refer to "Selecting stitching" (page 72).
