[System] > [Server] > [RTP] Settings for video and audio streaming using RTP. RTP Server Settings for use of RTP, RTSP authentication method and port number. [RTP] Select whether to use RTP. [RTSP Authentication Method] Select a RTSP authentication method. Since RTSP authentication method is set independently from HTTP Server authentication method, it is necessary to configure the setting for each authentication method. [RTSP Port] Enter the RTSP port. In general, use [554] (factory default settings). Audio Settings Settings for multicast audio transmission. [Audio Compression Method] Displays the audio compression method and the frequency. [AAC-LC 48kHz] as fixed value. [Multicast Address] Enter multicast address for audio transmission as follows. IPv4: in the range of 224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255 IPv6: address starting with ff00::/8 [Multicast Port] Enter multicast port for audio transmission. [Multicast TTL] Enter the effective range for multicast distribution. The TTL (Time To Live), representing the effective range for multicast distribution, is decremented each time the signal passes through a router. When it reaches 0, distribution through a router becomes impossible. For example, if TTL is set to [1], multicast distribution is confined to the local segment only and cannot pass through the router. Note With one of the following settings, audio multicast distribution is disabled. - Set [0.0.0.0] (IPv4) or [::0(::)] (IPv6) for [Multicast Address] . - Set [0] for [Multicast Port] or [Multicast TTL]. 57
