Printing Maintenance 3 Start Print Head Deep Cleaning. (1) Select Cleaning from the pop-up menu. (2) Click Deep Cleaning. (3) Click OK. Print Head deep cleaning starts when the POWER lamp starts blinking. Do not perform any other operations until the Print Head deep cleaning is completed (about one minute). Note After Print Head deep cleaning finishes, print the nozzle check pattern to verify that the Print Head Nozzles are clean. See "Printing the Nozzle Check Pattern" on page 27. If not, check that there are sufficient ink levels in all ink tanks before turning off the printer. Be sure to perform another Print Head deep cleaning 24 hours after turning off the printer. If this does not resolve the problem, the Print Head may be worn out. Contact the Customer Care Center. 36

Start Print Head Deep Cleaning.
Print Head deep cleaning starts when the
POWER
lamp starts blinking.
Do not perform any other operations until the Print Head deep cleaning is
completed (about one minute).
Note
After Print Head deep cleaning finishes, print the nozzle check pattern to
verify that the Print Head Nozzles are clean.
