6 Administration Administrator Table 30 Administrator Page Field Administrator Name Administrator Contact Access Point Location Current Password New Password Description Enter the name of the administrator. You can use up to 64 alphanumeric and symbols characters. [ASCII values 32 to 126 excluding double quote(")]. Enter the e-mail address or phone number of the person to contact regarding issues related to the access point. You can use up to 255 alphanumeric and symbols characters. (ASCII values 32 to 126 excluding double quote.) Enter the physical location of the access point, for example Conference Room A. You can use up to 255 alphanumeric and symbols characters. (ASCII values 32 to 126 excluding double quote.) Enter the current administrator password. You must correctly enter the current password before you are able to change it. Enter a new administrator password. The characters you enter are displayed as bullet characters to prevent others from seeing your password as you type. Confirm New Password The administrator password must be an alphanumeric string of up to 8 characters. Do not use special characters or spaces. Re-enter the new administrator password to confirm that you typed it as intended. NOTE After you configure the settings on the Administrator page, you must click Apply to apply the changes and to save the settings. Changing some settings might cause the access point to stop and restart system processes. If this happens, wireless clients will temporarily lose connectivity.
