6 Administration Event Logs STEP 5 To verify that the software upgrade completed successfully, check the software version shown on the Software Upgrade tab. (It is also shown in the Summary section). If the upgrade was successful, the updated version name or number is indicated. Event Logs The Events page shows real-time system events on the access point such as wireless clients associating with the access point and being authenticated. You can view the most recent events generated by this access point and configure logging settings. You can enable and configure persistent logging to write system event logs to non-volatile memory so that the events are not erased when the system reboots. And you can enable a remote log relay host to capture all system events and errors in a Kernel Log. To view system events, click the Events tab.
