Section 7 - Advanced Setup Wireless Bridge The Wireless Distribution System (WDS) allows you to extend the range of your wireless network by introducing one or more WDS-enabled devices into your wireless network. You can only establish WDS links with WDS-enabled devices. AP Mode: Select Access Point's functionality to be Access Point or pure Wireless Bridge. You can select Wireless Bridge (also known as Wireless Distribution System) to disables access point functionality. Selecting Access Point enables access point functionality and Wireless bridge functionality will still be available and wireless stations will be able to associate to the AP. Bridge Restrict: Select Disabled to turn off wireless bridge restrictions. Any wireless bridge will be granted access. Selecting Enabled or Enabled (Scan) enables wireless bridge restriction. If enabled, only the specified bridges are granted access. Click Save/Apply to configure the wireless bridge options and put the modifications into effect. Select Access Point’s functionality to be Access Point or pure Wireless
Bridge. You can select Wireless Bridge (also known as Wireless
Distribution System) to disables access point functionality. Selecting
Access Point enables access point functionality and Wireless bridge
functionality will still be available and wireless stations will be able to
associate to the AP.
Select Disabled to turn off wireless bridge restrictions. Any wireless

Click
Save/Apply
to configure the wireless bridge options and put the modifications
