Main Menu of Setup Program System Time System Time sets the computer to the time you specify (usually the current time). Type in the appropriate information. Use the tab key to move between the hours, minutes, and seconds fields. This option is useful if you travel between time zones. System Date System Date sets your system to the date you specify (usually the current date). Type in the appropriate information. Use the tab key to move between the month, day, and year fields. Floppy Drive Floppy Drive identifies the type of diskette drive being used by the computer. This option has no user-selectable settings. 1.44 MB, 3 1/2" means there is a diskette drive in the options bay. External FDD means the diskette drive is being used as an external device. Hard Disk Displays the capacity of the computer's hard-disk drive. If you install a drive with a different capacity, the settings under this option change automatically. This option does not have any user-selectable settings. Quiet Boot Disabled (the default) indicates that the diagnostic power-on self-test (POST) and summary screen are displayed at system boot. When set to Enabled, the summary screen does not appear. Main Menu of Setup Program
System Time
System Time sets the computer to the time you specify
(usually the current time). Type in the appropriate infor-
mation. Use the tab key to move between the hours,
minutes, and seconds fields. This option is useful if you
travel between time zones.
System Date
System Date sets your system to the date you specify
(usually the current date). Type in the appropriate infor-
mation. Use the tab key to move between the month, day,
and year fields.
Floppy Drive
Floppy Drive identifies the type of diskette drive being
used by the computer. This option has no user-selectable
settings.
1.44 MB, 3 1/2” means there is a diskette drive in the
options bay.
External FDD
means the diskette drive is being used as
an external device.
Hard Disk
Displays the capacity of the computer's hard-disk drive.
If you install a drive with a different capacity, the settings
under this option change automatically. This option does
not have any user-selectable settings.
Quiet Boot
Disabled (the default) indicates that the diagnostic
power-on self-test (POST) and summary screen are dis-
