Pry up the coin-cell battery to release the double-stick adhesive tape on the bottom of the coin-cell battery, and then lift it out of the computer. 4. Removing the Coin-Cell Battery
CAUTION:
Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety

1.
Follow the procedures in Before Working on Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the bottom access panel (see Removing the Bottom Access Panel
).
3.
Pry up the coin-cell battery to release the double-stick adhesive tape on the bottom of the coin-cell battery,
and then lift it out of the computer.
4.
Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.
