Exercise care when handling the hard drive. NOTICE: Use firm and even pressure to slide the hard drive into place. Excessive force may result in damage to the connector. This procedure assumes that you have completed the removal procedure Removing the Hard Drive. 1. Slide the hard drive into the hard drive connector until the drive is fully seated. 2. Replace the hard drive cover aligning the notches. 3. Replace the two M2.5 x 8-mm screws to secure the cover. 4. Install the operating system for your computer, as needed.
