Prerequisites
Remove the back cover. See "Removing the Back Cover" on page 17.
Procedure

Remove the screws that secure the optical-drive assembly to the middle cover.
2
Gently lift the optical-drive assembly from the middle cover and disconnect the
power and data-cable connector from the optical-drive assembly.
