4 Connecting a Printer of Other Device Your computer has one parallel and two serial ports. TO connect a printer or other peripheral device, follow the instructions below. Using the Parallel Port Follow these steps to connect a parallel printer to your computer: 1. Place the printer next to the computer so that the backs are facing you. 2. Connecting a Printer of Other Device

Using the Parallel Port
Follow these steps to connect a parallel printer to your
computer:

Place the printer next to the computer so that the backs are
