Image formation The image formation system is the central hub of the printer. During image formation, the color image is created. The image formation system consists of the following imaging units: photosensitive drum cartridge carousel, laser/scanner toner cartridges ITB unit secondary transfer roller (see Figure 5-2) A detailed description of the imaging units follows the image formation process.
