Figure 5-7 Secondary transfer Separation As the media passes the secondary transfer roller, it passes over the charge eliminator. The charge eliminator removes any positive charge on the media that came from the secondary transfer roller. The elimination of positive charges decreases adhesion of the paper to the belt and allows for better separation. Figure 5-8 Separation 108 Theory of operation C7085-90921
