Note Troubleshooting power-on Power-on check 1 Verify that the printer is plugged into an active electrical outlet of the correct voltage. 2 Verify that the power-on button is pushed in. 3 Verify that the duplex unit short cord is plugged in to the printer. 4 Make sure the fans are still running. If the front panel display looks dark and an error message appears, check the ribbon cable between the formatter and the DC controller. 5 Remove any HP JetDirect or other EIO cards, then retry powering-on the printer. 6 Make sure the control panel display is on. 7 Check fuse in power supply (see Figure 7-36). 8 Replace the power supply. 9 Replace the interconnect PCB. 216 Troubleshooting C7085-90921
