In Windows NT, you must restart the computer after inserting some cards, for example, LAN and SCSI. Refer to the online Help in CardWare and to the documentation included with the card to learn whether you must restart the computer after inserting your card. To insert a PC Card: 1. With the connector facing in and the label facing up, align the PC Card with the guide rails in the PC Card slot. 2. Gently push the card into the slot until it is seated. CAUTION: Forcing a PC Card into the slot can damage the connectors. Inserting a PC Card In Windows 95, the computer beeps twice when the card is ready for use.
