Power down and unplug the MFP.
CAUTION:
Unplugging the device is MUST because the tray heaters are ALWAYS energized if the power cord is plugged in and the tray
heater switch is ON.
Unpack the tray heater.
Remove tray 2 and 3 from the device.
Note the cable connector on the tray heater.
Note the tabs on the rear of the tray heater.
Connect the cable from the tray heater to the connector on the rear wall of the MFP.
Insert the tabs on the rear of the tray heater into slots in the rear wall of the MFP.
Locate the tray heater power switch in the rear of the tray opening.
Turn the switch ON to apply power to the tray heater(s).
Reinstall trays 2 and 3 into the device.
