Set up the iSCSI Initiator Windows For Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2008, the iSCSI initiator is included with the operating system. For Windows Server 2003, you must download and install the iSCSI initiator (version 2.08 recommended). HP recommends the following Windows HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Registry settings: Tcp1323opts = "2" TimeOutvalue = "120" NOTE: Increasing the TimeOutvalue from the default of 60 to 120 will avoid initiator I/O timeouts during controller code loads and synchronizations. These settings are included in the HP P6000 iSCSI/FCoE and MPX200 Multifunction Router kit. 94 iSCSI or iSCSI/FCoE configuration rules and guidelines
